Export a Model

You successfully created a model and applied color to it, and now you are ready to export your creations. Go to the MESH MODEL tab and use the Dense Mesh Model button in the Export section. This opens a Windows Explorer window where you can set the model's name and choose where your model will be exported and in which format. Press the Save button to go to the next step, the Export Model dialog with the export settings. You won't be able to change the values set in the Windows Explorer window, so choose wisely when setting them.

The selected component does not have any models. Please select a component with a model or if you don't have any models, return to the previous step to create one.

To export a model you can also use the Mesh and PointCloud button in the Export section of the SCENE 3D/TOOLS tab or the general Export button found in the 3. Output section of the WORKFLOW tab.

You are not required to color your model or apply textures to it to export it, so you can do it right after the reconstruction.
