Filter Triangles
This tool enables you to remove unwanted parts of a mesh.
Filtering always creates a new model which does not contain the selected triangles.
First, you need to select triangles (you want to filter out) in a reconstructed model: click here.
The Filter Selection tool becomes active after you select some triangles in the reconstructed model.
It can be found in the SCENE 3D/TOOLS tab in the application ribbon.
Note: After applying the filter, only triangles which were not marked will remain and a new model will be created, so you do not need
to worry about the reference model. It will rest unchanged.
Please also note that even though the new model looks like a point cloud when zooming in, it is in fact composed of solid triangles.
